Truth and Righteousness alone are lasting and all other things, including this body, wealth and kinsfolk are impermanent. Manifest the truth within you and put into practice that truth. What you need for spiritual progress are three things: a heart free from attachment and hatred, a tongue that is not tainted by untruth, a body not polluted by violence. Without these three, all penance and religious practice is of no use. You have to pray incessantly to the Divine to confer these qualities on you. Realise that the Divine is within you. Life is given to you to realise lasting bliss by the right use of the body, the mind and the intellect. You have to acquire the wisdom to lead such a life based on the love of God.

درستی و راستی به تنهایی می مانند و همه چیزهای دیگر، بانضمام این جسم، ثروت و قوم و خویشان ناپایدارند. حقیقت درون را آشکار کنید و آن حقیقت را به عمل درآورید. آنچه برای ترقی روحی نیاز دارید این سه چیز است: قلبی خالی از تمایلات و کینه، زبانی که آلوده به دروغ نباشد، تنی که از خشونت دور باشد. بدون این سه، هر سختی یا تمرین مذهبی بی فایده است. بر شماست که پی در پی به درگاه الهی نیایش کنید تا این خصایص به شما اعطا شود. این را بفهمید که الوهیت در درون شماست. به شما زندگی داده شده تا شادی ابدی را بواسطه استفاده صحیح از بدن، ذهن و شعورتان درک کنید. باید آگاهی ای که برای هدایت زندگی ای که با عشق ورزیدن به خداوند استوار است را کسب کنید.
