It is the duty of every man to realise the purpose of life and utilise his time in the performance of his duties to sanctify his existence. Given the will, there is nothing that man cannot achieve in this world. But before embarking on any enterprise, man should recognise his abilities and endowments. Mankind has acquired the ability to explore the stars or walk on the moon, but has been unable to understand its true nature; man has become ignorant of his unity with the integral consciousness. This consciousness is not related to knowledge of the external world. It can be experienced only by turning one's vision inward. Only when he has Samagratha Bhavam (integral awareness) will he have the right perception. Such integral vision alone can confer bliss.

این وظیفه هر انسانی است که هدف و غایت زندگی را بفهمد و از وقتش در جهت انجام وظایف خویش برای تقدیس هستی و وجود خویش استفاده کند. با دادن چنین اختیاری، هیچ چیز در این دنیا نیست که انسان نتواند به آن دست پیدا کند. ولی پیش از عزم به انجام چنین امر مهمی، انسان باید استعدادها و موهبت هایش را بشناسد. بشر شایستگی کشف و سیاحت ستارگان، یا راه رفتن بر روی ماه را بدست آورده، ولی قادر به فهم حقیقت راستین خویش نبوده؛ او نسبت به یگانگی خویش، با وجود همه هوش و آگاهی اش نادان شده. این هوشیاری به دانش جهان بیرونی ربطی ندارد. آن را می توان تنها با برگرداندن دید و بصیرت بیرونی به درون تجربه کرد. تنها هنگامی که او ساماگراتا باوام (هوش و آگاهی تمام و کمال) در اختیار دارد، قادر به درک صحیح خواهد بود. چنین بصیرت کاملی خود به تنهایی موجب سعادت و شادمانی می شود.
