God's grace is the greatest wealth. To consider the amassing of money, gold or other material objects as the ultimate goal of life is not right. The goal of life instead, should be the acquisition of the divine wealth of God's grace. Try to win His grace by reforming your habits, reducing your desires and refining your nature. One step makes the next one easier; that is the unique quality of the spiritual path. With each step, your strength and confidence increases and you feel the Lord's grace all the more.

رحمت خداوند بزرگترین ثروت است. اندوختن مال و منال، طلا یا دیگر چیزهای دنیایی بعنوان هدف غایی ِ زندگی کار درست نیست. در عوض هدف زندگی، باید بدست آوردن رحمت خداوند که ثروتی معنوی است باشد. تلاش کنید تا با اصلاح عادات خود، کاهش خواسته ها و پالایش خود و ذات خویش، رحمتش را بدست آورید. یک گام، گام بعدی را آسانتر می نماید؛ این خصیصه ِ منحصر بفرد راه معنویت است. با هر گام، قدرت و اطمینان شما افزایش میابد و رحمت خداوندی را هر چه بیشتر احساس خواهید نمود.

What is 'Moksha'? It is giving up of the 'Anatma', the unreal. Suppose you want a glass of fruit juice, unless you throw away the water already in the glass, you cannot pour juice in to the glass. Similarly, unless you give up worldly desires, 'Atmabhava' (spirituality) cannot take root in you. When you spend your hours immersed in thoughts about God, you become free from evil ways. You will not be tempted to abuse others or harm them in any way. You begin to live in Love, accepting all events as His gifts. Then your home verily becomes heaven on Earth; the joy that bubbles in your heart is the symbol of Vaikunta (abode of Lord Vishnu); the earnestness and care that you evince in your work will symbolise Kailasha (the abode of Lord Shiva).

موکشا چیست؟ همانا آن ترک ِ آناتماست، آنچه حقیقی نیست. تصور کنید که لیوانی آب میوه طلب می کنید، اگر آبی که تا الان درون لیوان است را دور نریزید، نمی توانید آب میوه در لیوان بریزید. بهمین صورت، تا وقتی تمایلات دنیوی را ترک نکنید، آتماباوا (معنویت) نمی تواند در شما ریشه کند. وقتی ساعات خود را در تفکر به خداوند بسر می برید، از راههای شیطانی آزاد می شوید. آنوقت فریب سواستفاده از دیگران و آزار رسانی به ایشان را به هیچ وجه نمی خورید. زندگی در عشق را آغاز می کنید، و همه اتفاقات را بعنوان هدیه ای از طرف او قبول می کنید. آنوقت خانه خودتان بهشت ِ روی زمین می شود؛ شور و شوقی که در قلب شما می خروشد سمبل وایکونتا (محل حضور خداوندگار ویشنو) است؛ جدیت و مراقبتی که در کارتان از خود نشان می دهید سمبل کایلاشا (محل حضور خداوندگار شیوا) خواهد بود.

There is a creator behind this enchanting cosmos. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent. He is worshipped as God using many names and in many forms by various people. Unity, brotherhood and devotion are essential for every human being. To promote these sacred qualities in mankind, some great souls sought to establish different religions. Religion is not a restrictive concept. Religion is intended to develop the human personality and indicate the basic guidelines for right living. Religion brings out the humanness in man and enables him to live in harmony with his fellowmen. It provides the link between the individual and the Divine. It demonstrates the unity that underlies the diversity in creation.

در پشت این جهان افسونگر خالقی وجود دارد. او به همه چیز واقف، قادر و در همه جا حاضر است. مردم او را با اسمها و شکل های مختلف بعنوان خداوند مورد ستایش قرار می دهند. وحدت، برادری و از خود گذشتگی برای همه نوع بشر امری اساسی است. برای ارتقای این خصیصه مقدس در انسانها، بعضی ارواح بزرگ منش بدنبال بنا نهادن ادیان مختلف شدند. دین خط مشی محدود کننده نیست. دین قرار است شخصیت انسانی را ترفیع دهد و برای زندگی صحیح راه کارهای اساسی پیش رو بگذارد. دین انسانیت را در انسان آشکار می کند و او را قادر می سازد تا در هماهنگی و توازن با همنوعان خویش زندگی کند. دین بین فرد و الوهیت ارتباط برقرار می کند و اتحادی که در عین گوناگونی خلقت وجود دارد را به نمایش در می آورد.

Difficulties come and go like passing clouds. You don't need to worry about them. Keep your vision fixed on the sun. Sometimes, clouds cover the sun. But, have patience. When the clouds move away, the sun will be visible again. In the same manner, the clouds of worldly delusion come in the way of Atmic vision. In such situations, you should not let your mind waver. Have patience. The 'clouds' will recede and the 'sun' will reappear in all its brilliance.

مشکلات همچون بادهای رونده می آیند و می روند. نباید نگران آنها باشید. دید خود را بر خورشید متمرکز کنید. گاهی اوقات، ابرها خورشید را می پوشانند. لیکن، صبر داشته باشید. وقتی گذر کنند، خورشید دوباره نمایان خواهد شد. به همین ترتیب، ابرهای ابهامات دنیوی نیز به طریق ِ آتمایی می آیند. در چنین شرایطی، نباید بگذارید ذهنتان به لرزه بیافتد. صبر داشته باشید. ابرها عقب خواهند رفت و خورشید با تمام درخشندگی اش باز نمایان خواهد شد.

The fundamental ignorance called Maya plays many tricks with you. It makes you believe the rope to be a snake and you run away in fright. It makes you imagine a lake of water where there are only the hot sands of the desert, and you run towards it to slake your thirst! And you call it, "mayaa," meaning, "through me," "for me," in Sanskrit, thus identifying yourselves with it, as if it is real and beneficial. The moment you realise it is illusory, it ceases to bother you. Maya creates the universe; it spreads before the mind the vast paraphernalia of the objective world. It is a Narthakee (dancer), an enchantress who entices the intelligence and traps the senses. This na-rtha-kee can be subdued by kee-rtha-na. Keerthana is the contemplation and singing of the glory of God.

جهل اولیه که از آن بعنوان مایا یاد می شود، حیله و نیرنگ های بسیار به شما می زند. موجب می شود باور کنید ریسمانی مار است و با وحشت و هراس پا به فرار بگذارید. موجب می شود دریاچه ای آب را تصور کنید، در حالیکه تنها شنهای سوزان صحرا در مقابل شماست، و به سوی آن می دوید تا عطش خود را فرو بنشانید! و این همان است که آن را مایا می نامید، در سانسکریت یعنی "بخاطر من"، "برای من"، از این رو خود را با آن می شناسید، انگار که آن برایتان حقیقی و سومند جلوه می کند. زمانیکه بفهمید آن چیزی وهمی و خیالی است، از آزار و اذیت شما باز می ایستد. مایا خالق این دنیاست؛ مایا قبل از ذهن این دنیا و متعلقات مربوط به آن را گسترده ساخته. مایا یک نارتاکی (رقاص) است، ساحره ای که هوش را می فریبد و احساسات را به دام می اندازد. این نا-رتا-کی را می توان بوسیله کی-رتا-نا مطیع و رام کرد. کیرتانا همان تعمق و آواز نام و شـُـکوه خداوندگار است.

Every man should seek to know what Sath-Chith-Ananda (Being-Awareness-Bliss) means. Only then can he realize his true self. Due to the delusion caused by the phenomenal world, man regards Sath-Chith-Ananda as distinct from himself. This feeling arises from his attachment to the body. As long as man identities himself with the body and his physical attributes, he will be in quest of Sath-Chith-Ananda. When a man has discovered the true nature of the "I", he will not go after any worldly object. He will realize that he is verily the embodiment of Sath-Chith-Ananda.

هر کس باید بدنبال این باشد که سات-چیت-آناندا (بودن- شعور- سعادت) به چه معناست. تنها آن وقت است که او قادر خواهد بود خود حقیقی اش را بشناسد. بدلیل این پندار غلط که جهان پدیداری موجب آن است، بشر به سات-چیت-آناندا به چشم چیزی جدا از خود نگاه می کند. این احساس از وابستگی او به جسمش نشات می گیرد. تا وقتی انسان خود را با جسم و خواص فیزیکی اش می شناسد، در جستجوی سات-چیت-آناندا خواهد بود. وقتی بشر ذات حقیقی خود را از "من" کشف کرد، دیگر بدنبال اهداف مادی نخواهد رفت. او خواهد دریافت که براستی تجسم سات-چیت-آنانداست.

In all religions, birthdays of great personalities are celebrated but the ideals for which they lived are not remembered and followed. If you do not care to follows their teachings, the celebrations lose their meaning and become artificial observances. It is not doing justice to the good people whose birthdays are being celebrated. Christ taught people to love all beings and serve all with compassion. It is only by practising these ideals that one can truly celebrate His birthday. The Divinity within should be reflected in every action. The seat of Truth is in your heart. Worship means loving others with your full heart. You must live in love and lead a life of selfless service based on love. This is the only right way of celebrating the birth of Christ.

در همه ادیان، میلاد شخصیت های بزرگ جشن گرفته می شود، اما اهدافی که ایشان به جهت آن زندگی کردند به یاد سپرده نشده و از آن پیروی نمی شود. اگر برایتان اهمیتی ندارد که از آموزه های ایشان پیروی کنید، جشنها معنای خود را از دست می دهند و رعایت اصول ساختگی خواهند بود. این عدالت نیست که میلاد مردمانی نیک جشن گرفته شود. مسیح به مردم آموخت که همگان را دوست بدارند و با شفقت و مهربانی به ایشان خدمت کنند. تنها با تمرین این اهداف است که شخصی براستی می تواند میلاد ایشان را جشن بگیرد. الوهیت ِ درون باید در همه اعمال بازتاب داشته باشد. جایگاه حقیقت در قلب شماست. پرستش یعنی با تمام وجود به دیگران عشق ورزیدن. باید عاشق زندگی کنید و زندگیتان در جهت خدمت بی شائبه بر مبنای عشق به دیگران باشد. این تنها راه درست ِ تجلیل و اجرای مراسم جشن میلاد عیسی مسیح است.

When there is a downpour, the water that comes down is pure. The rain falls on mountains, plains and valleys. According to the region through which the rain water passes, its name and form undergoes changes. But due to these variations, it should not be thought that the water itself is different. Based on the teachings of the founders of different faiths, having regard to the requirements of the time and circumstance of particular countries, and keeping in view the specific needs of the people concerned, certain rules and regulations were laid down. On this account, one faith should not be considered superior and another inferior. Man's primary duty is to bear in mind the sacred truths they espouse and practise them in his life.

وقتی بارندگی زیاد اتفاق می افتد، آبی که فرو می ریزد پاک است. باران بر کوه ها، دشت ها و دره ها می بارد. بسته به منطقه ای که آب باران از آن عبور می کند، نام و شکل آن دستخوش تغییر می شود. اما بخاطر این دگرگونی ها، نباید تصور شود که آب خودش چیزی متفاوت است. بر طبق آموزه های صاحب عقیده های متفاوت، با توجه به ضرورت زمان و شرایط کشورهای خاص، و با در نظر گرفتن نیازهای خاص مردم، قوانین و مقررات مشخص و معینی تنظیم شده. از این رو، هیچ ایمان و اعتقادی نباید والاتر و دیگری پایین تر به حساب آورده شود. وظیفه نخستین انسان پذیرفتن حقایق مقدسی است که به آن معتقد است و در زندگی خویش بکار می برد.

Any mighty task can be achieved by chanting the Divine Name. For spiritual practices like meditation and penance, a specific time and place are required. But for chanting the Divine Name, no such restriction need be followed. Wherever you are, whatever you may be doing, you can chant the Divine Name. Sarvada Sarva Kaleshu Sarvatra Hari Chintanam (everywhere, at all times and under all circumstances, contemplates on God).

انجام هر کار بزرگی با ذکر نام الهی انجام پذیر است. برای ادای تمرینات معنوی مثل مدیتیشن و ریاضت، وقت خاص و مکان معین ضرورت دارد. اما برای ذکر نام الهی، چنین محدودیتی لزومی ندارد. هر جا که هستید، مشغول به هر آنچه هستید، می توانید به ذکر نام الهی بپردازید. ساروادا ساروا کالشو سارواترا هاری چینتانام (هر جا، و در هر زمان و تحت هر شرایطی، به خداوند بیاندیشید)
